Did you know that here in Crossville
we have our own full service dive shop including our very own Dive instructor? Whether you enjoy just snorkeling or would
like to become a Dive instructor yourself it is all right here at home. Charlie Threet opened the Crossville Scuba Center five years ago
and is a Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI) Master Instructor. Over
the past five years he has instructed over 250 Crossvillians beginning at Open Water Certifications with several going all
the way to divemaster. He enjoys helping other Dive Professionals earn their instructor ratings, the Crossville
Fire Department, Cumberland County Rescue Squad, and The American Red Cross are just a few organizations that have been trained
and certified under the supervision of Mr. Threet, but you do not have to be a professional to become a certified scuba diver.
Mr. Threet brings his love of the sport to all those around him. Several classes are held over the summer months with the
first class beginning in May.
